There comes a moment

Insert, turn key, push door open .

The ambience  of the room had an immediate affect on Michelle drapes on  the huge  window were pulled back allowing the non-obstructed sun to illuminate the full brilliance of the gaily painted room.

As if she’d just opened the best Christmas gift ever,”Alllllll right”  sprang from her lips.

Dropping her backpack and suitcase near the kitchenette just inside the door her hand gliding across the counter-top Michelle quickly concludes that the next week will be like a vacation even though she is on a business trip.  Investigating she walks the room noting ample space between the queen-size bed and dresser, light fixtures everywhere, even a  brown faux leather lazy-boy like chair.  “Why is called lazy-boy don’t girls have the right to be lazy,” Michelle ponders sitting down.  “Hhhmm, rather stiff,” she concludes.

Continuing the self-guided tour Michelle discovers that she won’t have to rush out in the morning for breakfast as the kitchenette is complete, “Excellent, a coffee maker,” opening a draw she finds on full display silverware, in another a twisted menagerie of cooking utensils.  Going from cabinet to cabinet, “Yes  pots and pans, bowls, plates, glasses,  a toaster, wow even a hand blender!”

Exhausted from the expedition Michelle collapses on the bed looking up at the ceiling, “Just the change I need to forget the lunicy back home.  But not a moment to waste for I need to get groceries for the week.”

And with that thought Michelle grabs her purse and wwoosshh out the door.
